I’ve been writing (or trying to) for ages… less than a handful of people have read one thing or another that I’ve written… anyway, I was looking over some of that stuff recently and realized that a lot of it was lame, or actually, well, beyond crap…
Anyway, some stuff, I still though was good. Now […]

“Van Helsing”, “Troy in Fifteen Minutes”…. another movie post.

I watched “Van Helsing” last night. It was not what I was expecting. If the people behind it were shooting for the next huge adventure hit, they failed miserabely. If, however, (and I think this is the one…) they wanted to create an action/adventure/hero cult flick. It was a huge hit.
Notwithstanding critics, the movie […]

Nick Berg’s Killing: A conspiracy?

Not that I believe this or anything, but it is an interesting conspiracy theory with lots of ideas, some far-fetched, others realistic.
Nick Berg’s Killing: 50 Fishy Circumstances, Contradictory Claims, and Videotape Anomalies
Although this is a dead-serious subject, I couldn’t help but laugh when some linked the white plastic chair that Berg was sitting on […]

Troy… a Trojan Horse

Troy blew. It was a disappointment.
Granted, $175 mil. worth of costumes and special effects make for some nice scenes. The fighting was there (although a bit subdued and not as captivating as many other movies), the music was there, and for the Ladies, Bradd Pitt and Orlando Bloom’s asses on show every now and then.
And […]

Hezbollah’s latest theft
Hezbollah have always tried to broadcast their message to go hand-in-hand with their actions. I have never found it succesful.
I am not going into the political aspect because I have never respected or liked them, and due to some unmentionable recent event, have developed a radical sort of hatred to them, that […]

The Daily Star - Star Scene - Roger Edde hosts luncheon for Czech President Vaclav Klaus:
Not a very interesting article, except that it’s about my home town. One striking point though. One of the guests comments:
“Mary Cochrane agreed, adding that ‘it feels like you’re holidaying here: the pink umbrellas, the color-coordinated uniformed waiters - […]

It’s raining. I hate it. It’s driving me mad. The sun comes up, I go outside, it rains on me. I go back inside, it stops raining. Higher powers are screwing with me.
On a lighter note, I changed my design, allowed comments in my blog and my page is now standard compliant. Meaning Sitefeeds, aggregators […]

Sitting outside on a sunny day, browsing, listening to music, using a wireless internet connection, and a 5-hour laptop battery…. ahhh….
Lots of stuff to be mentioned.
Firstly, check out :http://www.seekntell.com
And now, I was worried, when I moved here, that my english would somehow suffer in order for me to be able learn German. That has not […]
