It’s raining, but I’m happy…

A lot of the time I spent at home this weekend went into planning. Noting exhibitions to visit, concerts to go to, movies to watch, clubs to check out, as well as stuff to read, uni work to do….

The problem: Late last night, when I decided to finally go to sleep, I realized that this mode was not unfamiliar… It’s stage 4 of living without a pc. It’s scary that I am recognizing patterns!!! Anyway, stage 4 is basically expectance… I will get my new notebook in a few days and am already planning so many things. Not all are computer-related. Rather, It’s as if my life is on hold because this essential factor is missing. The problem is, I know that when I get it back, I won’t do any of the stuff that are jotted down on a zillion little post-it notes, books, files and whatnot. One can only hope.

This routine is really killing me. But, this change of weather has unequivocally (yes that’s a word, as skout would put it:) driven the Hamburgers (people of Hamburg, not the food) out of hibernation. They sense the summer, and it shows on their faces, through their clothes, their whole attitudes….this is something I would definitely enjoy, hope it gets better.
