Panic
I watched “The Last Samurai” today. I must say, Cruise has never been a favorite of mine, but his performance in this one was really better than any of his previous films. It was a good movie overall, except for the fact that I hate movies that end with the American hero learning all about honor and sort-of saving the day. Still, a nice insight on Samurai, considering how I am really interested in all ancient warrior societies. The point of this entry, although related to tonight, does not revolve around a particular film.
Is there such a thing as overusing a pc? Tonight, I feel as if I have overhit that barrier! While at the movies, a couple of incidents really scared me… First, I missed something a few minutes into the film, so I raised my hand and acted as if to move back a few frames and raise the volume!! (For winamp users, I pressed a virtual left arrow a couple of times, and the up arrow a few times as well!!!) that creeps me out. A movie now signifies nothing more than a downloaded avi or a dvd watched on my laptop!!! Anyway, I shook it off… but an hour or so later, having drank some Soda, nature called, and I answered by trying to pause the movie!!! Seriously, all hell broke loose, I cracked up laughing, and then felt sorry for myself….
yeah well, I’m not giving up my laptop…my precious… so I guess I’ll just have to get over this feeling!!

“You believe a man can change his destiny?”
“No… But I think a man cannot know his destiny. He can only do what he can, until his destiny is revealed. “
